Rewrite Advisory Panel
The Rewrite Advisory Panel was established in 1995 to consider and advise on issues arising during the rewriting of the Income Tax Act 1994. The Rewrite Advisory Panel site contains information about the process for resolving potential unintended legislative changes in the Income Tax Act 2004 and the Income Tax Act 2007.

GST Advisory Panel
The GST Advisory Panel was established in June 2010 to help businesses and the Government implement the GST rate increase announced in Budget 2010. The Panel considers submissions and acts as a conduit between businesses and the Government. It monitors how businesses are dealing with the changes so that the Government is aware of particular issues faced by businesses in recording and charging GST at the new rate.
