Determination for NZX Milk Price Futures Contracts issued

Inland Revenue officials have released determination G31 – NZX Milk Price Futures Contracts: an expected value approach.

The determination clarifies and simplifies the tax treatment of these contracts, and will apply to all transactions entered into on or after 1 April 2020.
