Gang Intelligence Centre information sharing proposal

Public submissions are sought on a proposed Approved Information Sharing Agreement between Gang Intelligence Centre agencies which includes Inland Revenue.

The discussion document containing the proposals and the draft agreement were released by the Minister of Police this week.

The purpose of the sharing is to prevent and reduce the level of gang-related harm to vulnerable young people, the community, gang members and their families.

Submissions on the proposals can be made at www.govt.nz/information-sharing. The closing date for submissions is 23 December 2016.
