SOP to November bill released

The Minister of Revenue today released a supplementary order paper to the Taxation (Tax Administration and Remedial Matters) Bill. Supplementary Order Paper No. 263 relieves interest charged on overdue tax for some overseas workers who are in New Zealand to assist following the Canterbury earthquakes, and who have unexpected tax to pay as a result of their stay in New Zealand being extended following further earthquakes.
