Income-sharing bill reported back

The Finance and Expenditure Committee has reported to Parliament on the Taxation (Income-sharing Tax Credit) Bill, which was introduced in August 2010. The bill sets out the criteria that would allow couples caring for children to share their income for tax purposes. The Committee made two very minor consequential changes to the bill and has requested that officials investigate other options before the bill progresses.
