More regular repayments for other borrowers

How often should Student Loan payments be made through the year to reflect the self-employed or business income received by a domestic student loan borrower?

Perhaps aligned to the same time period as their GST returns and calculated on the income declared (less GST)

Once, as is currently the case.

6 or 12 months. I think a student loan borrower in self-employment has a lot of obligations to keep in mind, e.g. GST, prov tax, ACC. We need to be careful to not align payments too much or each sum will be onerous. If requirements for regular payments are introduced then their due date calendar will be overwhelming!
