This website sets out some of the Government’s ideas for modernising and improving the administration of information on investment income.
You can find the index of all proposals and the background to them, by clicking on the LEARN MORE/TELL US heading, or choosing the area you're interested in at the top of each page - e.g. Benefits – Outline.
From either of these you can choose the subjects you're most interested in. More information is given about each subject.
The Government is interested in feedback on its ideas on these subjects, for example: How do you think thresholds should be calculated and what would be reasonable thresholds?
All questions are identified by bolded dark orange text. Once a question has been accessed, the question link will change from dark orange to grey to help identify questions that have been accessed or commented on.
On a question page like this, you can:
- Post a comment in reply to the question. You'll need to provide a name (which does not need to be your real name) and email address , and your comment will appear on the site once it has been checked.
- Post a comment in reply to someone else's comment. The same rules as above apply here.
- Indicate whether you agree (thumbs up) or disagree (thumbs down) with someone else's comment. No name or email address is required to do this.
- Some question pages allow you to vote on an opinion poll. No name or email address is required to do this either.
